No hot water at kitchen sink and dishwasher?

I just installed a new kitchen faucet. We recently had a dishwasher repair. We get no hot water at either the sink or the dishwasher. All other faucets supplied by the same hot water heater have plenty of hot water. When I turn off the cold water supply to the faucet, I get plenty of water volume, but only tepid temperature.

Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks
Thanks for the quick responses, I will give them a try and report back.
Here’s what’s happened on this problem. I pulled the dishwasher out and disconnected the water supply which runs from underneath the sink through a cabinet wall and under the dishwasher.

As soon as I did that, hot water started running again at the sink.

There was a pretty good kink in the copper tubing that was used as the dishwasher water supply, so I’m thinking about replacing it with a flexible hose. Do they make flexible hosing for this application and in your opinion is it desirable?

I suspect our dishwasher has been running on less than optimal amounts of water for a few years now, and it appears the kink in the dishwasher supply line was causing the lack of hot water at the sink, but I’m not quite sure why.

Thanks again for all your responses.
