Done a water test with the results of: Iron: 0 – 0.3 ppm Copper: 0ppm Chlorine: 0ppm pH: 5-6 Alkalinity: 80-120ppm Hardness: 15 grains/250ppm Nitrate: 0ppm Nitrite: 0ppm We have well water, and at one point there was a water softener, but it was removed. I have been seeing very mild yellowing in sinks/bathtub.

OKay so i had a Copper(II) sulfate, distilled water & steel wool solution. I add 5 drops of Sodium hydroxide solution. That created a precipitate of yellowy-brown particles. Where to install Shut-off valve under the kitchen sink?
